Warner Bros. Animation and DC Studios to Showcase DC Slate at Annecy 2024

Warner Bros. Animation is set to bring its biggest DC and original series to the Annecy International Animation Film Festival in France, taking place from June 21 to June 27, 2024. The studio’s flagship presentation, World’s Finest Animation: DC Studios and Warner Bros. Animation Showcase, will offer first looks and creative insights into the next era of DC animation, according to an official release.

Exclusive Panel with Industry Leaders

The event will feature a panel hosted by Peter Safran (Co-Chairman and Co-CEO, DC Studios) and Sam Register (President, Warner Bros. Animation, Cartoon Network Studios, Hanna-Barbera Studios Europe). The panel will include executive producers such as:

• Tom King (Mister Miracle)
• Rick Morales (Creature Commandos)
• Jake Wyatt (My Adventures with Superman, My Adventures with Green Lantern)
• Josie Campbell (Starfire!)
• Matt Beans (DC Super Powers)

The showcase follows last year’s celebration of Cartoon Network’s history, which was a standout highlight of the 2023 festival.

Upcoming Series and World Premiere

Warner Bros. Animation will also present previews of new series, including:

• SuperMutant Magic Academy
• Keeping Up With The Joneses
• Living the Dream

Additionally, the festival will host the world premiere screening of Batman: Knightfall Part 1, a multi-part animated event based on the iconic Batman: Knightfall comic run by Doug Moench, Chuck Dixon, Alan Grant, Dennis O’Neil, Peter David, Jo Duffy, and Jim Aparo.
