The Philadelphia Eagles have officially signed their first-round draft pick from the 2026 class. Wide receiver Makai Lemon has agreed to a four-year rookie contract worth just over $20.8 million in fully guaranteed money, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media.

Lemon, selected with the 20th overall pick in the draft, received an $11.5 million-plus signing bonus as part of the deal. His selection was surrounded by notable intrigue last Thursday when he was reportedly on a call with the Pittsburgh Steelers, who held the 21st overall selection, at the moment the Eagles executed a trade-up with the Dallas Cowboys to secure Lemon’s rights.

During his final season at USC, Lemon recorded 79 receptions for 1,156 yards and 11 touchdowns, showcasing his potential as a dynamic playmaker. The Eagles’ roster moves this offseason reflect their commitment to strengthening their receiving corps, which already includes DeVonta Smith.

The team also signed free agent Hollywood Brown and acquired Dontayvion Wicks via trade earlier this year. Additionally, the Eagles are reportedly planning to trade A.J. Brown after June 1, further emphasizing their strategic overhaul of the wide receiver position.
