An unusual listing for an eight-wheeled Mercedes-AMG G63 has surfaced on a Ukrainian Instagram account, initially appearing authentic but later raising suspicions of being AI-generated.
At first glance, the eight-wheeled G-Class looks like the real deal, but appearances can be deceiving. While Brabus has built extreme versions of the Mercedes-AMG G63 over the years, this eight-wheeled camper pushes the boundaries of credibility.
The listing, posted by a popular Ukrainian Instagram account specializing in used cars, features a mix of typical listings and oddities. Among them is this eight-wheeled G-Class mobile home, priced at $285,000—a figure more typical for a standard G63 rather than a heavily modified version. If real, the fabrication costs alone would likely exceed this amount.

AI Detectors Fooled by the Images
The images appear authentic, fooling some AI image detectors, while others flagged them as AI-generated. The Instagram page’s credibility was further undermined by another listing for a 2026 Volkswagen Passat R, a model that does not yet exist.
The Brabus G-Class in the listing retains only the original front section. Behind the front doors, it has been converted into an RV with two additional axles, making it an eight-wheeler. Mercedes has built a six-wheeled G-Class but has never produced an eight-wheeled version.
Luxurious Interior with Carbon Fiber and Alcantara
A closer look at the cabin reveals a spacious and luxurious interior, featuring black Alcantara and carbon fiber elements, including the bathroom door, drawers, kitchen bench, and other components.
The most glaring indication that the images are AI-generated appears on a large touchscreen control panel in the cab. While mostly accurate, the word “battery” is misspelled with an odd-shaped character inserted between the “r” and “y,” a clear sign of AI manipulation.
Could an Eight-Wheeled G63 Be Real?
Despite the evidence suggesting this listing is fake, it sparks curiosity about whether an existing G-Class owner might commission a vehicle like this. While unlikely, stranger things have happened, leaving room for speculation.
