The player character update in Phasmophobia introduces fresh avatar models for all ghost hunters, offering extensive customization options. By default, only a limited selection of cosmetics is available. To fully personalize your character, you’ll need to unlock additional items. Here’s how to expand your wardrobe with new character cosmetics in Phasmophobia.

How to Get Cosmetics in Phasmophobia

There are two ways to obtain cosmetics in Phasmophobia:

• Buying from the shop: The primary method, always available, offers a solid selection of permanent items. Access the store by selecting the Customization page in the same shop where you purchase equipment. Browse through tabs to explore options. All shop cosmetics are purchased using cash earned from completing contracts.
• Completing special challenges: Unlock cosmetics by achieving gameplay feats, such as reaching new Prestige levels, or participating in limited-time events like Cursed Hollow, which features three unlockable cosmetics. Twitch Drops may also occasionally offer unlockable cosmetics.

Note: Phasmophobia has no microtransactions. All cosmetic items, now and in the future, are obtainable through these two methods. Some may be tied to time-limited events, so stay alert to avoid missing opportunities.
