NFC 동부지구 팀인 댈러스 카우보이스가 루키 미니캠프 테스트에 참가한 오프ensive 라인맨 DJ 윙필드와 계약을 체결했다고 밝혔다. 에이전트 브렛 테슬러는 윙필드가 카우보이스와 공식 계약을 맺었다고 발표했다.
윙필드는 2025년 USC로의 이적을 계획했으나, NCAA 자격 미비로 인해 트로전스 소속으로 한 경기도 출전하지 못했다. 그는 퍼듀 대학교, 뉴멕시코 대학교, 그리고 주니어 칼리지에서 활동했으며, 2024년 퍼듀에서 오른쪽 가드 포지션으로 12경기를 선발 출전했다.
카우보이스는 윙필드를 90인 로스터에 추가하며, 그의 경험과 실력을 팀에 보탤 것으로 기대하고 있다.
