캐롤라이나 팬서스가 2라운드 드래프트인 리 헌터와의 계약을 발표했다. 팬서스는 헌터와 4년 계약을 체결했으며,これにより7명의 신인 드래프트 멤버가 모두 계약 절차를 마무리했다.
팬서스는 헌터를 49번째 전체 순위로 지명하기 위해 트레이드를 단행했다. 헌터는 텍사스 공과대학교에서 뛰며 마지막 시즌에 41개의 태클, 11개의 태클로스, 2.5개의 샥, 1개의 포스드 펌블을 기록했다.
한편, 팬서스 디펜시브 라인에는 헌터 외에도 데릭 브라운, 보비 브라운, 터샨 휘튼, 라브리안 레이, 자레드 해리슨-헌트, 캠 잭슨, 아론 홀, 파커 피터슨이 포진해 있다.
