The Lamborghini Fenomeno Roadster is now the most powerful convertible in the Italian automaker’s 63-year history. Limited to just 15 units globally, the open-top supercar joins Lamborghini’s exclusive Few-Off lineup, which includes the previously introduced Fenomeno coupe.
With the decline of traditional auto shows, Lamborghini introduced the Roadster in a unique setting: the Lamborghini Arena, a brand-specific festival held at the Imola race track. While the event is open to fans, the dinner preceding the DJ set was attended by roughly 1,000 customers.
The Roadster shares its design language with the 2025 Fenomeno coupe but features a bespoke aerodynamic package to match its coupe counterpart’s downforce and stability. Key visual changes include a tiny spoiler atop the windshield, which redirects airflow over the cabin and into the engine bay, while preserving passengers’ hairstyles. The carbon-fiber engine cover is flatter than the coupe’s, offering a clear view of the V-12 engine beneath.
Mitja Borkert, Lamborghini’s head of design, emphasized the importance of elevating the engine: “V-12s aren’t getting any more common. As rivals downsize or turbocharge, Lamborghini remains committed to preserving this iconic layout.”
Hybrid Powertrain and Performance
The Fenomeno Roadster shares its hybrid drivetrain with the coupe, combining a 6.5-liter naturally-aspirated V-12, three electric motors (two front, one rear), and a 7 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. The system delivers a combined 1,065 horsepower—making it the most powerful open-top Lamborghini ever.
Performance figures are staggering:
- 0–62 mph in 2.4 seconds
- 0–124 mph in 6.8 seconds
- Top speed of 211 mph
The Roadster rides on 21-inch front and 22-inch rear center-locking wheels, clamped by massive carbon-ceramic brake rotors. Adjustable racing-style shocks ensure both road and track capability, reflecting Lamborghini’s recent push into motorsports, including its successful GT3 program.
Cutting-Edge Technology
Beyond its track-proven hardware, the Fenomeno Roadster incorporates advanced technology. A 6D sensor is integrated into a complex electronics lattice, measuring vertical, lateral, and longitudinal acceleration, as well as angular velocity (roll, pitch, and yaw).
