ワシントン — 米食品医薬品局（FDA）の医薬品センターで代行を務めていたTracy Beth Høeg氏が、同機関を退任する見通しであることが、関係筋3名への取材で明らかになった。
同氏の退任は、FDA長官のMarty Makary氏が数日前に辞任を発表したばかりのタイミングで明らかになった。後任には、現在同センターの副センター長を務めるマイケル・デイビス氏が就任する予定だ。
FDAおよび Høeg氏はコメント要請に対し、直ちに回答していない。報道はロイター通信とブルームバーグが先に伝えた。
