In 2003, a Ferrari 360 Modena took a detour to Koenig Specials, emerging with twin turbos, a carbon roof scoop, and bodywork so aggressive it could set off car alarms. Now, two decades later, this radical Koenig-tuned Ferrari has been repainted in Viola Hong Kong—a modern Ferrari palette shade also featured on models like the SF90 Stradale and 488 Pista—and is being offered for sale in Italy.

From Germany to Koenig: The 2003 Twin-Turbo Transformation

The 360 Modena in question was originally delivered in Germany before being sent to Koenig Specials in 2003. The Munich-based tuning house, renowned for its 1980s and 1990s creations, turned the 3.6-liter V8 into a twin-turbo powerhouse. Upgrades included:

  • Pair of turbochargers
  • Upgraded pistons
  • Dual intercoolers
  • Carbon fiber roof scoop
  • Revised front fascia and splitter
  • Larger air intakes
  • Fixed rear wing
  • Tweaked rear bumper and diffuser

The car has since covered approximately 48,000 km (30,000 miles).

2024 Revival: Viola Hong Kong, Purple Interior, and Gold Accents

In 2024, Scuderia Baldini Co refreshed the exterior with a coat of Viola Hong Kong, a bold and modern Ferrari color. The transformation didn’t stop there. The car now rides on 19-inch gold BBS wheels and features upgraded Brembo brakes with carbon-ceramic discs. A new timing chain was also installed during recent servicing.

The interior is equally striking. Completely retrimmed in bright purple Alcantara, the cabin now includes purple upholstery across the seats, door panels, dashboard, steering wheel, pillars, and headliner. Gold-painted accents—such as the transmission tunnel and gauge cluster—add a touch of luxury to the wild aesthetic.

Why This Ferrari 360 Modena Stands Out

This isn’t just another tuned Ferrari. It’s a time capsule of 2000s tuning excess, a period when tuners like Koenig Specials pushed boundaries without asking for permission. The result is a car that blends raw performance with eye-catching design—far removed from the subtlety of a Ferrari Challenge Stradale.

"This is a Ferrari 360 Modena that took a detour through Koenig Special in 2003 and came out the other side with twin turbos, a carbon roof scoop, and bodywork loud enough to set off car alarms."

How to Buy: Act Fast

The car is being sold by Bring a Trailer, and interest is expected to be high. If you’re looking to own a piece of tuning history, now is the time to act before it’s too late.
