Several U.S. federal agencies have adopted Anthropic’s new cybersecurity model, Mythos Preview, to identify and patch security vulnerabilities. However, one key agency remains excluded from the rollout: the nation’s central cybersecurity coordinator.
On Tuesday, Axios reported that the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) did not have access to Mythos Preview, despite its touted capabilities for security analysis. Meanwhile, other agencies, including the National Security Agency (NSA) and the Department of Commerce, are reportedly using the model.
Under the administration of President Donald Trump, broader access to Mythos Preview has been under negotiation, according to Axios.
