Lamborghini will produce just 15 examples of the Fenomeno Roadster, marking the automaker’s 63rd anniversary since Ferruccio Lamborghini founded the company in 1963—a numerical coincidence that holds special significance at Sant’Agata.
The Fenomeno Roadster follows the closed-roof Fenomeno coupe, which debuted in August 2025, but Lamborghini is further restricting production to half the coupe’s 30-unit run. Unlike the coupe, the Roadster features a permanently open cabin with no retractable hardtop or targa-style solutions.
Design: Aggressive Open-Top Styling with Aerodynamic Refinements
Lamborghini’s designers leveraged the open-top architecture to enhance the car’s aggressive profile. Key changes include:
- Chopped side windows for a more dynamic silhouette
- A small carbon spoiler on the windshield’s trailing edge to optimize airflow
- A redesigned engine cover with two aerodynamic humps behind the headrests, serving as rollover protection
The brand claims that meticulous work on the car’s “upper functional surfaces” and new aerodynamic elements have allowed the Roadster to match the coupe’s downforce, stability, balance, and cooling performance. Lamborghini also notes the weight penalty for the open-top design has been limited to “only a few kilograms.”
Exterior: A Tribute to Bologna and the 1968 Miura Roadster
The launch model features a Blu Cepheus paint scheme with Rosso Mars accents and extensive exposed carbon fiber. This combination honors Bologna’s civic colors and echoes the 1968 Miura Roadster, the original open-top Lamborghini.
Interior: Black-and-Red Theme with Y-Shaped Graphics
The cabin adopts a black-and-red color scheme, featuring Y-shaped graphic details and intricate contrast stitching, aligning with Lamborghini’s current design language.
Electrified Power: 1,065 hp V12 Hybrid System
Like the Fenomeno coupe, the Roadster is built on a carbon fiber monocoque chassis and powered by Lamborghini’s most potent V12 engine to date. The powertrain consists of:
- A 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 producing 824 hp (614 kW / 835 PS) and 535 lb-ft (725 Nm) of torque
- Three electric motors: two mounted on the front axle and one integrated into the eight-speed dual-clutch transmission
- A 7 kWh battery pack supplying power to the electric motors
The combined output reaches 1,065 hp (794 kW / 1,080 PS), surpassing the 1,001 hp (747 kW / 1,015 PS) of the Revuelto.
Performance: Nearly Identical to the Coupe
The Fenomeno Roadster delivers near-identical performance to the coupe, with the following figures:
- 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 2.4 seconds
- 0-200 km/h (0-124 mph) in 6.8 seconds—just 0.1 seconds slower than the coupe
- Top speed in excess of 340 km/h (211 mph), compared to the coupe’s 350 km/h (217 mph)
Pricing for the 15-unit limited run has not yet been disclosed.
