ウォルト・ディズニー社の元CEO、ボブ・アイガー氏がベンチャーキャピタル企業スリーヴの顧問に就任した。同社がウォールストリート・ジャーナルを通じて発表した。
アイガー氏は退任後の新たなキャリアステップとして、スリーヴ社のスタッフと共に投資活動やポートフォリオ企業の支援に携わる。同社のポートフォリオには、OpenAIのサム・アルトマンCEOが率いる同社も含まれており、かつてアイガー氏はOpenAIとの間で総額10億ドル規模のAI動画ソフト「Sora」に関する提携を模索していたが、実現には至らなかった。
スリーヴ社は、テクノロジー分野を中心に成長企業への投資を手掛けるベンチャー企業で、アイガー氏の経験とネットワークを活かした戦略的支援が期待されている。
