Lamborghini has begun testing the new Revuelto SV, a high-performance variant of its flagship hybrid supercar. Spy photographers recently captured the first images of the prototype, which ditches traditional camouflage in favor of a bold “Attenzione Macchina Veloce” message—Italian for “Caution: Fast Machine.”
The standard Revuelto already packs a punch with its plug-in hybrid powertrain, combining a naturally-aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine, three electric motors, an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, and a lithium-ion battery. This setup delivers a combined output of 1,001 hp (747 kW / 1,015 PS) and a top speed exceeding 217 mph (350 km/h).
Revuelto SV: Power and Performance Upgrades
The Revuelto SV is expected to push these figures even further. For context, the outgoing Aventador SV produced 740 hp (552 kW / 750 PS), a 49 hp (37 kW / 50 PS) increase over the standard model. The lineup later expanded to include the Aventador SVJ, boasting 759 hp (566 kW / 770 PS).
While official power figures for the Revuelto SV remain unconfirmed, industry speculation suggests a significant boost to around 1,184 hp (883 kW / 1,200 PS). However, historical trends indicate the final output may be closer to a more modest increase.
Design and Aerodynamic Enhancements
The Revuelto SV prototype features several visual and aerodynamic upgrades. Up front, it sports a revised front bumper with a pronounced splitter, triangular air intakes, and new support bars. A closer look reveals a distinctive side-mounted fin behind the front wheels, while the production model is expected to ride on lightweight wheels exclusive to the SV.
At the rear, the prototype includes a large rear wing, new vents above the taillights, and a revised exhaust system with circular tips housed in a hexagonal surround. The aggressive diffuser appears to carry over from the standard model, though final production details may differ.
Interior and Weight-Saving Measures
Spy photographers did not capture the interior, but the Revuelto SV is expected to retain the familiar cabin layout, featuring a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and an 8.4-inch infotainment system. However, weight-saving measures are likely, including lightweight sport seats, the removal of carpeting and sound-deadening materials, and the omission of non-essential features such as the 9.1-inch front passenger display.
