Stellantis will introduce the Leapmotor B03X, an affordable electric SUV, to European markets by autumn 2026, priced at approximately €25,000 ($29,400). This positions the B03X well below competitors such as VW’s ID.Polo (starting at €24,995) and ID.Cross (from €28,000), as well as models like the Skoda Epiq and Renault 4 E-Tech.

The B03X is already available in China as the A10, where it starts at ¥65,800 ($9,600) and reaches up to ¥86,800 ($12,700). The European launch will expand Leapmotor’s lineup in the region, following the recent introduction of the B05 hatchback.

Key Features and Specifications

The B03X is a subcompact SUV measuring 4,270 mm (168.1 inches) in length, featuring a design with soft curves and a generic exterior. However, its interior prioritizes space and practicality, including:

  • Rear seats that flip up, similar to the Honda Jazz;
  • A 602-liter (21.3 cubic feet) boot with a washable compartment under the floor, akin to the Ford Puma;
  • A panoramic sunroof and ambient lighting;
  • A 14.6-inch infotainment display powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chipset.

In China, higher-spec trims of the A10 include a LiDAR-based ADAS suite, though it remains unclear if these features will be available in Europe.

Performance and Charging

The B03X offers two battery options: 40 kWh and 53 kWh, paired with power outputs of 94 hp (70 kW) and 121 hp (90 kW). All versions are front-wheel drive (FWD). Leapmotor claims a CLTC range of 505 km (314 miles), though the WLTP figure is expected to be lower. The battery can charge from 30% to 80% in 16 minutes.

Production and Market Strategy

While the A10 is manufactured at Leapmotor’s Hangzhou plant in China, the B03X will be produced in Spain, alongside other European models like the B05 hatchback and B10 SUV. This local production will help Stellantis avoid EU tariffs on Chinese imports.

The B03X was first unveiled in November 2025 and is part of Stellantis’ broader strategy to expand its affordable EV offerings in Europe through its Leapmotor International joint venture.
