Lamborghini has initiated testing for the new Revuelto SV, the latest addition to its plug-in hybrid supercar lineup. The model boasts an upgraded powertrain, aerodynamic refinements, and weight-saving measures to enhance performance.

Spy photographers recently captured images of the Lamborghini Temerario Spyder and have now obtained the first pictures of the Revuelto SV prototype. Notably, the automaker did not conceal the vehicle’s identity; instead, the prototype sports a bold, uncamouflaged design with the message “Attenzione Macchina Veloce”—Italian for “Caution: Fast Machine.”

This messaging subtly signals the return of the Super Veloce (SV) badge, a name historically associated with Lamborghini’s most powerful models. The standard Revuelto already packs a formidable powertrain: a naturally-aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine, three electric motors, an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, and a lithium-ion battery pack. This setup delivers a combined output of 1,001 hp (747 kW / 1,015 PS) and a top speed exceeding 217 mph (350 km/h).

Expected Power Output: A Significant Boost Over the Standard Model

The Revuelto SV is anticipated to deliver even greater power. For context, the Aventador SV produced 740 hp (552 kW / 750 PS), which was 49 hp (37 kW / 50 PS) more than the regular Aventador. The lineup later expanded to include the Aventador SVJ, boasting 759 hp (566 kW / 770 PS).

While official power figures for the Revuelto SV remain unconfirmed, speculation suggests an upgraded plug-in hybrid powertrain capable of producing approximately 1,184 hp (883 kW / 1,200 PS). However, historical trends indicate that the actual increase may be more modest.

Aerodynamic and Weight-Saving Refinements

Beyond its powertrain, the Revuelto SV features several design tweaks aimed at improving performance. Spy shots reveal a unique front bumper with a pronounced splitter, new triangular air intakes, and revised support bars.

The side profile largely carries over from the standard model, but a closer look shows a new side-mounted fin behind the front wheels. The production model is also expected to ride on lightweight wheels exclusive to the SV.

At the rear, the prototype is equipped with a large rear wing and new vents above the taillights. A revised exhaust system with circular tips housed in a hexagonal surround is also visible, along with an aggressive diffuser that may carry over to the production version.

Interior and Weight Reduction Features

Spy photographers did not capture the interior of the Revuelto SV, but the production model is expected to retain familiar elements such as a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and an 8.4-inch infotainment system.

To further enhance performance, the SV is likely to incorporate several weight-saving measures, including lightweight sport seats, the removal of carpeting and sound deadening material, and the potential omission of non-essential features such as the 9.1-inch front passenger display.
