Maserati has officially teased the facelifted versions of its GranTurismo, GranCabrio, and Grecale models, all featuring a lightly revised exterior with an updated front end. The vehicles are expected to debut later this year with incremental horsepower improvements.
Following a sharp decline in sales, Maserati is banking on these refreshed models to reinvigorate demand. While spy photographers have previously captured glimpses of the upcoming models, the automaker has now released official photos of the updated GranTurismo, GranCabrio, and Grecale.
Testing and Development
The trident brand has provided limited details but noted that testing in the Modena area includes a mix of city streets, hilly roads, and high-speed motorways. Maserati stated that these drives are "aimed at collecting essential data and information to ensure the optimal final fine-tuning of the vehicles."
Exterior Updates
While the official photos are somewhat unclear, they suggest that the GranTurismo and GranCabrio will adopt a more aggressive front fascia, featuring a larger grille and revised air intakes. Additional changes include a new rear bumper and minor tweaks throughout the design.
For the Grecale, updates appear similarly modest, with a new front bumper and revised air intakes. The grille design appears to carry over, while side skirts—previously camouflaged—now resemble those found on the current Grecale Trofeo. A new rear bumper and diffuser are also expected, along with potential restyled wheels and other minor alterations.
Interior and Technology
Interior updates remain unclear, though the current models already feature a 12.2-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch infotainment system, and an 8.8-inch climate display. Spy photographers have captured an interior image of the Grecale, suggesting the only change may be to the dashboard-mounted digital clock.
Performance Specifications
Performance details for the refreshed models have not been confirmed, but the current lineup offers a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 engine with outputs ranging from 385 hp to 542 hp, depending on the variant. Electric versions are also available, with the GranTurismo Folgore producing 751 hp and 995 lb-ft of torque, enabling it to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 2.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 202 mph.
The Grecale currently offers a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 with outputs of 385 hp or 523 hp, as well as an electric version developing 542 hp and 604 lb-ft of torque.
